German Turn 3 and the arrival of the 1st SS Sturmgeschutz Battalion.

mean while the assault on Soliers meets resistance 23rd Hussars Recce troop is ambushed by a Marder which in turn is heavily damaged by a 75mm gun armed Sherman and Accurate artillery fire falls on one of the Sherman troops knocking out another 75mm, at about this time an RAF Typhoon turned up but was promptly shot down unfortunatly though we don't seem to have taken any pictures of it.

Turn 4 and the first of the German Panthers turn up

Carnage in front of Bras.

Skipping on a bit the attack on Bras has met stiff resistance as witnessed by the burning wrecks from 3 RTR and the Rifle brigade how ever infantry from the Rifle Brigade are now pushing thier way into the town and Cromwell tanks from the 2nd Northhamptonshire Yeomanry are rushing forward to try for the next objective.

Surviving Defenders of Bras make good thier escape in what ever transport available leaving Bras firmly in British control But the German gun line in front of Hubert-Follie is starting to look very daunting.

Back at Soliers the 4th Battalion, Kings Own Shropshire Light Infantry arrive and are forced to debus in front of the town by fire coming out of it, while the German Armour starts massing for a counter attack.

The view down Soliers high street the Church has fallen to the British and surviving defenders flee to the next house while the Brits prepare to assault the casino which falls shortly after.

Final positions Bras is now in British hands but the British player has decided that the enemy in front is to much for him and calls a halt to his advance.

Back at Soliers heavy fighting in the town goe's on while a deadly tank gun battle is played out around the town, all of the German tanks around the town had at least 1 Heavy damage and some had light damage as well but I could only destroy one of them the pall of smoke beyond the trees in the centre of the shot.
With only 1 turn left and time running out we decided on a draw as the Brits held 1 town and was contesting another how ever had the game gone on longer we think the result would have been a british win as the Germans were simply running out of infantry had plenty of tanks left but no infantry to support them.
A very good game which I would love to play again at some point.
